- Parking on the nearby streets is free on Sundays until 2 PM; no need to feed the meters on Sunday mornings! On most days, there are lots of open parking spots around the church.
- We also offer free, validated parking in the 222 W. 7th garage, with entrances from both 7th and Elm Streets. Enter the garage, and park in any open spot; no ticket or registration is needed. You will need to know your license plate number for validation. Once inside the church, ask one of the greeters to help you validate your parking; the greeter will just need your license plate number to complete the validation.
- Whatever is comfortable for you. Some men will be wearing suits and ties; women might be wearing dresses. Generally, the most typical attire is business casual. Sometimes on a Bengals game Sundays you will see Bengals gear, the same for Red’s game or FC Cincinnati game. Come as you are.
How do I enter the church?
- The main entry doors open on Elm Street about 30 minutes before any service begins.
- You may also enter directly through the parking garage entry; the door into the church is located on the second floor of the garage, in the northeast corner of the garage.
- An accessible entry via a ramp is also available; come to the courtyard entrance on Elm Street, by the iron gates.
What happens once I enter?
- You will be greeted by friendly greeters, who can answer all your questions.
- We will have a worship bulletin for you, which is an easy roadmap to navigate the service.
- YES! We love children. We have a professionally staffed nursery in the lower level for infants and toddlers, and activities for older children.
- Children’s Church is available for children ages 2 through 5th grade and the children are invited to go to Children’s Church just before the sermon begins, about halfway through the worship service.
- We have crayons, doddle pads and Children’s Bulletins for the children, so they have something to work on until it is time for Children’s Church.
- If you would prefer to keep your children with you during the worship service, we are happy to have them stay with you.
What happens when the service is over?
- Each Sunday we host a reception in Metzger Fellowship Hall following worship. All are invited to stay and enjoy light snacks and casual conversation. This is a great way to connect with members and friends following the worship service.
- Many guests also make plans to visit some of our great restaurants in downtown Cincinnati, or nearby museums and attractions. (Note that the validated garage parking is good all day, so no need to hurry off!)
Let us know you are coming and we will watch for you.
