Meet OUr Staff

Rev. Dr. Dan Turis holds a Master of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Portland Theological Seminary at George Fox University in May 2025. Dan’s focus for his doctoral studies was on Christian discipleship, drawing from the example of elders in the time of Moses through to the present, and tracing how a robust discipleship ministry leads to real growth for individual Christians and for the church. Dan began ministry with Covenant-First Presbyterian Church in August 2023, bringing genuine enthusiasm to his ministry. He and his wife Leslie live near Cincinnati’s Eden Park, not far from the church, along with their dog, Mac. In Dan’s words, I am thrilled to serve Jesus Christ by being your pastor. It’s clear to me that Christ is up to amazing things in this place, I hope you are as encouraged as I am to see what Christ is doing. I look forward to the future of this great church.

Come back for Rev. Dr. Dan Turis' picture coming soon.
